Why Advocate?

  • Empowerment: Advocacy helps people find their voice and take action on issues that matter to them. It encourages individuals to stand up for themselves or others, fostering a sense of agency and empowerment.

  • Policy Change: Advocates can influence lawmakers and decision-makers to pass policies that protect rights, improve quality of life, or address systemic issues.

  • Raising Awareness: Advocacy shines a spotlight on underreported or misunderstood issues, helping to educate the public and challenge misconceptions.

  • Social Justice: It’s a crucial tool for challenging inequality, discrimination, and injustice in society. Advocacy helps push for systemic changes that promote fairness and inclusion.

  • Community Building: Advocacy brings people together around common causes, strengthening communities and fostering solidarity. When people unite for a cause, it can spark collective action and social movements.

Helping Hands

Why we need your help!

By ourselves, we can only do so much. However, when we amplify the voices of the leaders of today, we create a hope, a future, that there remains to be seen. Without the support of the community, we fail at our objective to decrease the stigma around mental health.
